Hidden in the tropical Amazon Rainforest, San Pedro offers rustic bungalows a 1-hour boat ride from Iquitos Airport, and less than 2 hours from downtown Iquitos. It offers rainforest and regional expeditions, canoeing and an animal rescue centre. Wild animals can be watched in their natural environment.
Guests at San Pedro Lodge can visit the indigenous Bora tribe, Pilpintuwasi Butterfly Farm and Animal Orphanage, Acobia Manatee Rescue Centre, the floating houses in Belen and other attractions around Iquitos.
San Pedro serves a daily breakfast, lunch and dinner which are made from scratch with fresh ingredients and are included in the room rate. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided. The restaurant offers traditional Peruvian cuisine, as well as a variety of international dishes, and free "refresco", a local fresh fruit juice drink. Free drinking water is available 24/7.
Accommodation at San Pedro includes rooms with shared bathrooms and private rooms with en suite facilities. All are equipped with mosquito nets and offer scenic rainforest views.
Shuttle service to and from the property can be arranged for free. During the low water season, guests will have to walk the last 30 minutes of the path from the Nanay River.
