The area is popular for skiing and in summer for hiking, biking, and climbing. The lake at Zell am See (15km) makes a lovely bicycle ride (city, mountain, and electric bikes are for hire in the village). There you find a wide range of water sports facilities and beaches. Salzburg airport is 43 km away and Saalfelden train station is 5.5 km away.
