Caleta encompasses is one of the busiest and most central beaches in the city of Viña del Mar. This enclosed bay is bordered to the south by Cerro Recreo with the Capuchin convent and church on the cliff, and behind it beautiful buildings facing the Cerro Castillo. It also has a large number of trees and gardens.
It is generally visited by locals and Viñamarinos who are familiar with its waters suitable for bathing.

By bus:

By car:
One of the options to get to Viña del Mar is through Route 68, you enter Valparaíso and follow the correct signs to get to Viña. The Viña - Valparaíso Highway is 5.5 km long and begins in Caleta Abarca.
There is also a direct route to Viña del Mar from Route 68 towards Variante Agua Santa or Route 66, to travel a beautiful path with views of the Bay of Valparaíso and the beaches of Viña del Mar.
Its atmosphere is more relaxed, away from the bustle of Reñaca or Playa Las Salinas, but no less crowded since in the summer season it has a large number of visitors.
This spa is the most popular and well-known in Viña del Mar, and it has a beautiful landscape.
Caleta Abarca, is a beautiful beach absolutely recommended for its pleasant atmosphere and easy access.
