The Casa de Cora Coralina Museum is a Brazilian museum institution, located in the city of Goiás, on the banks of the Vermelho River, which seeks to preserve and publicize the work of Brazilian poet Cora Coralina.
Also known as Casa Velha da Ponte, the building was built in the middle of the 18th century for the use of the Quinto Real collection in the region. The house belonged to the judge Francisco Lins dos Guimarães Peixoto, father of the poet, and was initially acquired at the beginning of the 19th century.1 The building has typical characteristics of Brazilian colonial architecture, such as stucco walls and adobe.2 The Museum was created by the Cora Coralina Foundation and opened in 1989.
