The property belonged to the Benz Family and is listed by the Municipal Public Heritage. The Museum's collection comprises furniture that portrays the daily life of Timbó's first immigrants, as well as personal belongings, kitchen utensils, clothing, etc.
The museum is the living history of immigrants. It disseminates usages and customs that remain through the ages, thus providing cultural knowledge - and can be used as a research tool.
